Healing Arts Circle


Swarm Artist Residency’s Healing Arts Circle (HAC) is a dedicated space for healers to offer services to our residents, amplifying the healing and growth that takes place at Swarm every year.

What is the healing circle?

The Healing Artist Circle (HAC) is a dedicated space for healers to offer their practices to Swarm residents, while also taking time for their own rejuvenation, amplifying the healing and growth that takes place at Swarm every year. As healthy gardens thrive from the planting of a wide range of seeds, Swarm depends on the richness, depth, and diversity of its community. Healers of color, queer, gender-expansive, and other healers working in non-dominant spaces are strongly encouraged to apply.

Healers of all kinds are welcome to apply, including but not limited to: 

  • Yoga and Tai Chi instructors

  • Reiki / Energy Workers

  • Intuitive and Psychic Healers

  • Tarot Readers

  • Herbal & Nutrition-based healing

  • Massage and Body Workers

  • Music, art and dance therapies

  • Meditation and spiritual instructors

…..And more are all encouraged to apply! 

Resident Healers Will Receive:

  • A place of nourishment, care, and retreat

  • Free reserved lodging at Swarm's retreat location for 3 nights (with an option to stay longer as a general participant at sliding scale cost)

  • Free dinner each night

  • Reserved meeting space

  • Opportunity to offer (optional) healing "office hours" for monetary payment or energy exchange, as determined by you

Resident Healers Will Provide:

  • A one to two hour contribution to the community in the healing practice of your choice

  • Support for community upkeep and wellness (dishes, space cleaning, etc), alongside all other SWARM participants

  • Post residency feedback to the Hive
